We took the Italian dinner class with Ethan and he was great. It is BYOB, so bring your own bottle of wine, missed that small text.
The food was delicious, and Ethan did a great job working with all of us in the class, ensuring everything ran smoothly. He made homemade pasta seem easy! We signed up with another couple which made it fun since you are paired with another couple for the class. Only recommend that bar stools be provided so you dont have to stand while eating the meal.

I’ve walked past Sur La Table many times, never actually going in. Well for some reason I did last week and was pleasantly surprised. Far more affordable than I had imagined and such beautiful items for all tastes. Left with a few items in a 2 for 1 deal. I’ll be coming back with my Husband to see about purchasing new crockery.

This was such a great experience. I've done cooking classes at Central Market prior, which I enjoyed, but I felt as though Chef Nick really made it special. It was a little more intimate, as our group was smaller. Overall I cannot emphasize more on how great of a teacher Nick is. Toward the end of the class he asked for constructive criticism and if I gave any, I would be making it up. I felt he was well spoken, patient, efficient, and very clear on his instructions. There was even an impatient and disruptive member of the class, but it did not phase him and he handled it like a true professional. The class we were part of was Secrets of Great Sushi, where we made Spicy Tuna Rolls, Avocado Vegetable Hand Rolls, and shrimp tempura rolls. Every last bite was fantastic, and although I'm not a very good roller, it was still a fun and unique experience. I would highly recommend taking any classes featuring Chef Nick and we also can't forget about Sous Chef Jessica (she was also great).

Went here for a cooking class and had an absolute blast! The head chef was super accommodating considering I have a food allergy! He was also super energetic and was passionate about his cooking! I felt like I walked away learning a lot more about cooking than I had! This is a fun date night idea or something to do with friends

We had the best experience at Sur La Table taking our first ever knife skills class with Chef Nick. It was a 2 hour course and we learned professional cutting techniques using 5 different brands of cutting knives. Chef Nick also taught the class how to make fresh garlic paste and peel tomatoes. I’d highly recommend this class for any level of person looking to up their cutting skills game. You also get 10% off anything at the store after the course. I’m looking forward to the dim sum class!

We took the Latin American cooking class with Chef Alejandra and made the best empanadas ever!! Highly recommend this class, the empanada dough is perfection!

I took the Incredible Indian Flavors cooking class. We made garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and shrimp in roasted coconut sauce. We were split up into 4 groups of 4 and we took turns cooking. All the ingredients were pre measured which was a huge time saver. Chef Nick was very knowledgeable and friendly. The class lasted about an hour and 15 min, and then we had time to eat everything we made. I was surprised and a little bummed out by their strict no takeout policy, which means you can’t take anything you make home with you. They email you the recipe so you can make it again, but I did notice there were several differences between the instructions I received in class and the instructions in the recipe I was sent. The demographic seemed to be couples in their 30s and above, so I felt a bit odd as the youngest person there and being by myself. Looking back, I don’t think I learned much new information from this class. As someone who knows the basics of cooking and wanted to learn more, I’m not sure this class was the right fit. The best way to do that might just be through trial and error in my own kitchen. Because of how expensive the class was, I don’t think I’d take another cooking class here. However, I thought the class was a fun experience, and the food we made was amazing.
