I purchased a knife to give as a gift from a local dealer. Two months later I was prepping it to give away. I noticed that inside the package the sheath was missing. I recalled that it was the last one in stock and I had actually purchased the display model. The retailer had either moved or gone out of business because the building was vacant and no signs to where they had gone.
I called Spartan and spoke to Kimberly. She told me the best way to handle it would be to email them. I did and they made it right immediately. Sent me a new sheath not even asking for a payment for shipping. She said it was included in the warranty.
Such a great company! They weren't really responsible for the missing sheath, but took care of the problem anyway. They now have a lifetime customer and I will be making other purchases from them soon.
Superb quality and excellent customer service! This is what you expect but all too often find lacking in the consumer world lately.

I can't say enough good about this company. I bought this knife about 3-4 years ago, since then it has pried, cut, sawed, hammered, stabbed, whittled and everything in between. It has cut metal, meat, wood, rope, wire, bone, and myself on more than one occasion (my fault, not the knife). This knife has been in my pocket every day since I bought it, and all it asks for in return is some lubrication, cleaning, and sharpening, just like any other knife. My only regret with this knife and the others I've bought from them since, is not knowing about the company sooner. All of this, coupled with a veteran friendly environment, makes this one of the best companies I've ever bought from. If you're looking for knives that will literally go to hell and back with you and look damn good doing it, go with them.

Great Knives, Great shipping. Customer service gets a ding, Within days of buying 2 knives from them I found they were on sale at a "partners website" for over 30% cheaper. Even sent a pic of the sale items. I was thinking maybe a price match would be the thing to do to show customer appreciation. So make sure you check other websites for better pricing before ordering from them.
Updated & edit-review- I went from 1 star to 3 because of the immediate response of this review. Thank you. I realize MSRP is a retail strategy but so is price matching within a certain number of days. It helps retain customers from going elsewhere and just shows appreciation. You guys pick and choose your retailers. Like I said GREAT KNIVES. I would never think of returning them and buying elsewhere ( its why I picked you first) I value your company and products. You choose who sells your products so you know what products are discounted.

Called Spartan and lady told me to swing on in if I could. I came in on Monday on my motorcycle. I rang the doorbell and was greeted by the associate. He was very friendly and asked what I needed help with. I went through almost every knife in the store looking with him to see what would fit my needs. He explained the differences between them all explaining he made them as well. I ended up picking up one of there frame lock knives. It flipped open smoothly and made up almost entirely of titanium! They back their products 100%!! Just don’t be stupid with the knives... my recommended knife company!

I can't say enough positive things about this company, the people, or their products. I purchased a Special Edition Harsey knife from a retailer in early June, and it had a tiny bit of vertical play to the blade. After speaking with Kimberly through email, I decided to take a trip and have them check it out for me under their warranty. I called ahead, and confirmed with Jake that I would be coming. After driving 2.5 hours, I was warmly greeted by the same man I spoke to on the phone, and my issue with my knife was promptly resolved, and a courtesy sharpening was performed as well by Lannie. These are fantastic people, warm-hearted as they come. Even though I had no problem driving the distance to see them in person, I could tell they were showing their gratitude to me not just as a customer, but as someone willing to personally bring an item to them for their attention and service. I was able to shake the hand of one of the co-owners, and it just made me feel even more appreciated as a customer. I purchased another custom Harsey folder and a Pallas folder from Jake. I own many knives from many different makers, and I will attest that Spartan Blades' product quality, attention to detail, and professionalism is elite. As an Army veteran myself with combat time in Afghanistan with the 82nd and also a NC native, I will fully support this business as much as I can, and spread the word. Thank you for all you do, and what you stand for.

Spartan Blades is a five star operation. I have been buying knives from them for eleven years and will not buy knives from any other company. Just recently bought their new Ronin Shoto karambit and liked it so much that I bought another. This blade is the best thought out folder that I've seen. It speaks to Spartans uncompromising commitment to to produce first rate blades. You pay more for the best, but you GET the best. These are heirlooms than you will hand down to your grandkids.
